Teachers for Vietnam is run by: 

  • Kristen Arbolino, Co-Director (kristen@teachersforvietnam.org), currently lives in Mountain View, CA and works at the Google Children's Center. Prior to this opportunity she lived and taught in Houston, TX at The British International School of Houston, Jakarta Intercultural School, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Prior to working in Indonesia she taught at a Reggio Emilia inspired International Kindergarten in Hanoi, Vietnam for a total of 6 years. Kristen volunteered with Teachers for Vietnam from 2007-2009. She is originally from New York. She has a B.A. in Psychology, and a M.S. in Early Childhood Education. She is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Pedagogical Coordination in the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood Education. 

  • Elizabeth Hollingsworth, Co-Director (elizabeth@teachersforvietnam.org), a native of Concord, MA, is a 2009 graduate of Princeton. After college, she was a Princeton-in-Asia fellow for two years at Can Tho University. After returning from Vietnam, she earned an MSc degree from the London School of Economics in International History and a MA degree from Columbia University in World History. Upon graduating from graduate school, she moved to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to work as the inaugural Career and Education Director at Hope for Justice Cambodia. Elizabeth currently works in Development at The Door and University Settlement, two NYC-based human service non-profits.
