How We Are Sustained:

Teachers for Vietnam solicits funds from individuals, corporations, foundations, Vietnamese-American groups, and other organizations with a particular interest in Vietnam or the improvement of relations between Vietnam and the United States.

Since 2009, Teachers for Vietnam has been the recipient of a generous grant from the Norman & Rosita Winston Foundation, in New York.  This gift has greatly helped to underwrite the costs of recruiting and sending teachers to Vietnam. Recently we received another major award from the International Foundation, based in Fairfield, N.J. This has enabled us to fund three teaching positions in Vietnam.

How to Contribute:

Contributions can be made by Paypal, personal check or money order, made out to “Teachers for Vietnam.”  These contributions should be mailed to: Teachers for Vietnam, PO Box 362, Salisbury CT 06068.  Since Teachers for Vietnam is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) public charity, registered in New York, such contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.  Donors will receive written acknowledgement of their gifts.

Nancy Bolick Fellowships:

Nancy O’Keefe Bolick was a writer based in Newburyport, Massachusetts, who was deeply committed to promoting cross-cultural contacts between Americans and people from all over the world.  She participated as a volunteer and team leader on several projects sponsored by Global Volunteers.  She passed away in 1996.  The Nancy Bolick Fellowships were created in her memory, to further the goals she embraced.   Contributions to these fellowships can be sent to the above address, made out to “Teachers for Vietnam,” but indicating they are to be designated for the “Nancy Bolick Fellowship Program.”
